WebThe church was built in 1867 in the parish of Dwygyfylchi, to serve the expanding population of Penmaenmawr and designed by Alfred Waterhouse. It is built in the Gothic Revival style and was in fact built at the instigation of William Ewart Gladstone, the great Victorian prime minister, who had a house in the Dwygyfylchi area.
