WebJun 7, 2008 · Having installed both the rubber and urethane tires, the rubber are a lot easier. For the urethane, I put them into boiling water to get them pliable enough for installation. You will hear opposing views of course. But if your wheels have a crown machined in them, no problem. If it doesn't and you have to crown the times, stick with rubber.
