In the context of endogenous Snail promoter, TGF-β1 increased Foxm1 binding to the Snail promoter DNA as demonstrated by ChIP assay, suggesting that there was crosstalk between TGF-β1 signaling and Foxm1 in the regulation of the Snail promoter.
